The Nature of Non-Reciprocal Things

In living coexist with people and nature, our surroundings often being unpredictable. Rarely do things go according to the plan. We are all taught that our action comes with consequences, what we reap is what we will sow. The concept that our future is all in our hands seems logical and we barely question that statement. We all doing all the good things hoping everything will favor us in the future. We all believe that all our efforts won’t be wasted. Good things are the only thing that will come to us if we do all the good things today, we come to a conclusion in thinking that everything will work reciprocally.

As we grow up, little by little we unravel the truth. We find out that The world doesn’t work like we used to think. The world is a horrid place and its unfairness is shredding the innocence within us. Horrible things still coming to those righteous, and blessings keep coming to the wicked. The world behaves randomly and barely we will be able to recognize what will happen to us despite all the good things we pour.

Behind this major irrationality, on why the world fails to make any sense, it is simply because we, as the people, who run the world, are similarly clueless in facing the life given to us to bear. we all just trying to figure things out. Figuring things out is a learning process, and making mistakes is a part of learning. Sometimes other mistakes hurt us and so do our mistakes to others. Some never learned anything and ended up being a poison awaken child’s innocence.

If you seek who’s the one to blame in this imperfect scenario, nothing you can blame. You cannot blame those who hurt you because they still or never finish their learning process. If you try to blame those poisonous ones, they are just doing things they think best for themselves. Once you try to see things through their eyes, you will understand why it all makes sense for them.

Not everyone who doesn’t behave the way you expect is people who fail to learn, they’re just simply operate in a different way. The way you will never understand. Often you don’t need to know how their logic operates but you only need to know that everyone operates differently. It is really illogical to expect the world to work according to our expectations and expect others to behave according to our standards. And if you want to blame someone in this mess, then the first to blame is yourself, and that is for being too naïve.

We may wonder how we should act in this cursed short life we have, should we watch our actions or not, should we behave well and be more considerate in our actions, or just we follow the nature of everything for being random and not showing any kindness to any creature even the vulnerable ones. Feel free for you to choose what you want to be. Follow what your heart tells you to do because it reflects the truest you.

My verdict on this matter is to do something good. To maximize good for everyone, ensuring to please others without hurting yourself, and vice versa. To keep doing all the good things without ever expecting anything in return. To spread love despite receiving none. Because the purest joy lies in putting smiles on other faces, it beats the excitement of reaping the benefit your kindness may return.
